GUNS

50 plays Rich, a street-level arms dealer pushing a new line of military-grade heavy artillery provided to him by Gabriella (AnnaLynne McCord). Their relationship goes beyond mere business, as a fairly gratuitous sex scene illustrates (anybody know if that was really 50's nude hindquarters on display, or a body double?).

For his crew, Rich recruits an old ally named Angel, played by Val Kilmer, whose acting is limited to few words and a weary expression; I'm not certain if Kilmer's going for minimalism or just phoning it in. James Remar, typically sturdy in performance, and Paul Calderon play the detectives trying to sniff out Rich's impending big deal, which has left a trail of dead bodies in its wake.
